So, as the title reads, here are the ten things that you have to look for in a man. If he possesses all of these ten traits, InsyaAllah, he will turn out to be the best husband for you. So, ladies (especially the ones who are still searching) and guys (here are your guidelines), take note of these and may Allah bless us with marriage that will last until jannah. Amin. ;)
According to Prof. Dr. Baltaji in his book entitled 'Fiqh al-Marah', there are ten characteristics that a man should possess in his quest to be the best husband for his wife.
They are :
- Able to imam the solahs. A husband who is capable of imam-ing solahs is said to be capable of leading his marriage.
- Educate his wife on deen which includes fiqh, tauhid and al-Quran.
- Matured.
- Responsible.
- Independent
- Firm and has his own stand and vivid principles.
- Protect his wife and kids.
- An all-rounder.
- Able to recite al-Quran
- His presence is never a nuisance for others.
So, ladies, if you happen to bump into a man with all of these qualities, wait no longer. He is the perfect fit for you.
And guys, how well do you score in this check list? If you don't perform well enough, there are still time to improve yourself. These are the perfection that we ladies look for in a man.
